I have a 7 year old and twin four yr previouss. I sold it for the 7 yr previous to work on geography over the summer time. All three kids love puzzles and love that this puzzle talks. They all use it and it goes to make learning the US states and capital so much more uncomplicated and extra fun. Be cautious should you go away it within the household room with out the pieces for the explanation that lights from the room and TV spark off the speaker and the puzzles talks to you all evening lengthy. Keep the puzzle pieces within the puzzle or the puzzle in the closet.

I thought the puzzle that gave states as smartly as their capitols could be great for my 5 yr previous daughter. I used to be VERY dissatisfied once I realized how the map labored. If you situation ANY state over the "Texas" sensor the map identifies it as Texas and provides the state capitol as "Austin". No topic what state you place over any explicit sensor, the map provides the state and capitol data associated to the sensor...not the puzzle piece. My daughter propmtly held up South Dakota after placing it over the Minnesota sensor and proudly proclaimed South Dakota as Minnesota. I should flip off the voice portion of the map so my daughter does no longer get perplexed. I certainly would not counsel this product.

Purchased these for my four year old twins who love puzzles. They labored fine to start out, however after just a few days they each broke. They weren't subjected to rough play or anything else, however now one of the most states do not work, they usually go off at random instances, like whilst you stroll close to them, or turn the solarshines in the room off. I've had to take them out of the childs' rooms as a result of at all hours of the night time I would hear "Idaho -- Boise," and "California -- Sacramento." I was once extraordinarily dissatisfied with their durability.
