Hey there, I really love this product! I just received identical message that they are not able to fulfill my order!!???? I bought this toy for a 5-year-old boy who loves mechanical things. I took it out of it's box to test that it worked and located that when it turned on, it marched in a decent circle and did not exchange direction when it hit objects, as marketed.
The vendor shipped a substitute, and I notion that was once the finish of it. I made the error of giving it as a gift with out checking it. The alternative worm additionally marches in a tight counter-clockwise circle! This new one at least modifications path quite when it hellots different objects, but the problem with its legs/sense of direction is such that it just finishs up getting stuck again.
It was once an actual disappointment to me. The little boy and I finished up flipping it over and getting some enjoyment out of observing its legs wiggle in the air, but it certainly was a bummer that it doesn't work correctly.
I think this may be a design flaw. The legs don't coordinate very neatly which ends up in them getting stuck. Both hexbugs that have been shipped to me have the same problem: their again left leg does not work in addition to the one on the right, so it simply moves in circles.
