Gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she went throughout the modeling clay in two days. We mad a variety of jewels and she or he and I even have had a blast with this present. The instructions say that the clay should harden in 24 hours, but we quickly found out that it takes 3-4 days to fully harden prior to that you could glaze them.

My 8-year-old was once very excited to obtain this for Christmas. She enjoyed making beads with it -- exactly one time. It's been untouched for a month. I may see her getting it out once more on a cold or rainy weekend when she's searching for something completely different to do, however it can be not going to be used regularly. It wouldn't be any different with different jewelry-making equipment available within the market -- it can be simply no longer something she would play with often.
